I'm still on an aliens kick, so I wrote today's drabble about one of the most celebrated aliens of all time; Kaguya-hime.
Gift From The Heavens
Our little girl was so beautiful
Sweet, and bright and happy.
Her outward beauty always reflected her inner warmth, and as she matured
her looks did too
People stopped being content with just seeing and hearing her, they
wanted to touch her too.
Men seeking to hold her came to win her hand. Great men; warriors, lords
and even the emperor himself, sought to take our little girl away.
She always rebuffed them with great grace.
But when they came from the
heavens, she went back with them.
I don't know if she found her home, but we lost ours.
